Billing and accounting.
Simplified.
One engagement, two products, and a mid-flight handover. Eviebooks and EvieBillings were already built when Strix Inc. brought us in. We refined them relentlessly: cleaner screens, friendlier flows, faster queries, and core features that simply work, without bugs. Today roughly 70% of what users touch carries that pass.

The story
How two products got their second wind.
The handover
Two products arrived mid-flight.
Eviebooks and EvieBillings were already live when Strix Inc. called us in 2024. The products worked, mostly. And that word, mostly, was the entire brief: reports took effort to trust, billing took effort to run, and every new feature took longer than the last.
The brief, in full
“Keep what works. Refine everything else. Leave no bugs in the core.”
Taking stock
We read everything before we rewrote anything.
We did not start with a rewrite. We started by reading: the codebase, the data, the complaints that kept coming back with different words and the same cause. By the end, the whole plan fit on a wall note.
The refinement
Then, screen by screen, things changed.
Roughly 70% of the product got this treatment: cleaner, friendlier, faster, and core features that work without bugs. All of it shipped without ever stopping the trains.
A reporting engine you can trust
Cleaned up and made dependable: accurate, IRD-aligned, and generated on demand.
Inventory visible at a glance
Stock updates were already dependable; we surfaced them with live views, movement history, and faster screens across the catalog.
Around 300 hours a year, returned
Entries, reports, and vendor payments run themselves; error flagging catches the rest.
Numbers that answer today
Live tracking of expenses, sales, and inventory instead of year-end archaeology.
Indexing across major modules
We added database indexing on the major modules, so inventory, reports, and search stay fast on heavy ledgers.
Code quality as a feature
Refactors, consistent patterns, and reviews across the codebase, so new features land cleanly instead of being built around old ones.
What stands today
Two products, one promise.
What came out the other side is a product family. Eviebooks runs the back office, EvieBillings keeps every invoice compliant with the IRD. This is what users open every morning.
